In 2007, I began to design trucker hats. This was during the time I was a part of the Downtown Pomona, CA Art Colony. I used the studio at Vox Populi art gallery. It began as a project for a friend. She had requested a hat with her name and some rhinestones. I cut her name into a stencil and designed the background of the hat with a mixture of different colors. The finished hat was pretty cool. Soon after, my neighbor asked for a similar style hat but with out a name, just a design. It became a hat creation period for me. I made over 30 hats all together. Here are pictures of a few of my favorites. Who knows, I might start to make some more soon
